Scott Cooper (North Carolina)
Scott Cooper (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent North Carolina's 2nd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on March 3, 2020.
Cooper said the withdrawal was based on a North Carolina Superior Court ruling on 2020 congressional election maps. "With these new district maps, I have been drawn out of the 2nd Congressional District and am now a resident of the 4th Congressional District," he said.[1]
