When we started Ballotpedia in 2006 our goal was to reach a few thousand political junkies a year with our balanced encyclopedic information. But thanks to the support of people like you, we now reach an audience of millions of readers per year, from journalists and policymakers, to everyday citizens researching their ballots, to top-tier political influencers.

It’s exciting to think about the impact we are having on our nation as we expand to reach even more people. This is only possible because of partners like you, who share our conviction that the more voters know about the candidates and issues on their ballots, the better the outcomes are for our democracy.

Here are a few concrete examples of the way your donation can help:

$500 per month will enable Ballotpedia to publish key analysis pieces, such as our Mid-Year and End of Year Recall Reports, highlighting national and state-level statistics. $250 per month enables Ballotpedia to expand its reach to cover 25 additional local-level elections, giving voters more access to information about important down ballot races in their communities. $100 per month allows us to produce a free weekly digest tracking election legislation activity including noteworthy bills, recent activity, and bills in the aggregate. $50 per month will give 50 readers access to Ballotpedia's sample ballot, a customized tool that gives every voter access to the information they will see on their ballots. $25 per month provides support for Candidate Connection surveys, a direct connection to candidates so voters can better understand the people representing them. $10 per month will help cover the cost of updating five races with election results.
