The South Dakota Healthcare and Education Trust Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment B, was on the April 10, 2001 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure established the healthcare and education enhancement trust funds. The healthcare fund was established with intergovernmental transfer money and the education fund was established with tobacco settlement funds.[1][2]
