Bob Mead (b. September 16, 1937) was a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented the Hillsborough 4 District from 2004-2006, and 2008 to 2011 when he resigned to serve as Chief of Staff for House Speaker William O'Brien.

Biography

Mead's professional experience includes Hillsborough County Executive Committee, Mount Vernon School Board, New Hampshire Republican State Platform Committee, and the Republican Fund Executive Board. He is president and chief executive officer of Urralix Corporation; corporate management, management corporation, and aviation for the United States Navy.

Mead earned his AA from San Jose City College and B.S. for University of Massachusetts. He and his wife, Susan, have five children; Tiffany, Kathleen, Danny, Brendan, and Amanda.

Mead ran for election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 5. Mead advanced past the September 11 primary and was defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Mead was elected by finishing first in the Hillsborough District 4 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives taking one of the four potential seats there. Mead (3,893) was followed by (3,893), Linda Foster (3,868), and William O'Brien (3,716), Frank Holden (3,686), William Condra (3,530), Jennifer Daler (3,512), Mary Beth Ayvazian (3,196), and Henry Mullaney (3,170).[3] Mead raised $400 for his campaign fund.
