I am an experienced executive leader, having worked in Vermont's state government and nonprofits throughout my career of over 35 years advancing positive change for individuals, children, and families. Married for forty years, I am a parent of four and grandparent of five, and have cared directly for my in laws and my own parents in their last years of life. I am grounded in values of family, community, and collaboration; these are my north star, personally, and professionally. In these challenging times, I know that my experience working with others to successfully navigate often unexpected and unwanted change will make a difference in the Vermont statehouse..

  • I am committed to ensuring that family voices are heard, and that policy and budgetary decisions clearly reflect the input of those most likely to be impacted.
  • I will work to ensure that our working lands and waterways are preserved, and that Vermont's agricultural heritage and sense of community are foundational to our way forward in these challenging times of pandemic, climate change, and economic uncertainty for many.
  • I will work to create a Vermont economy that works for EVERYONE. I am committed to a well-educated workforce, liveable wages, and childcare and eldercare options that work for families and employers. To make employment opportunities successful, we need to ensure that housing, transportation, health care and education are stable, accessible, and affordable.

Affordable, accessible, equitable, and high quality healthcare (including mental health and substance use disorders), education, housing, livable wages, universal family and medical leave, workforce diversification and development, improved/increased child care and elder care options, environmental issues, and more.
