Voters recalled Patrick Gilles from his position as Supervisor of Bridgeport Township, Michigan, in August 2010.[1][2]
Fred Beythan was one of the recall campaign's organizers. Beythan said that organizers began the recall campaign because Gilles had voted to approve a $2.5 million tax increase.[1]
Recall campaigns against Gilles in 2002 and 2003 were unsuccessful.[3]
