|
|
A Parkville City Use Tax question was defeated on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Platte County, which is in Missouri.
This measure would have authorized the City of Parkville to issue a use tax equal to the current sales tax of 1.5% to be applied to persons who make more than $2,000 in out of state purchases per year. This use tax would change as the local sales tax changed and would be repealed if the sales tax is repealed.[1]
