Democrats are projected to pick up five seats, in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Minnesota, and Vermont. Republicans will likely make up for the losses and then some, picking up a total of 12 seats; Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
