  • YES 2,786 (50.33%)
  • NO 2,749 (49.67%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $14,973,000 in order to help with acquiring new vehicles, improving fire equipment and building new fire stations and equipping them if needed.[2] District officials estimate that in the next 15 years, two new fire stations would be needed and this money from the bond would have helped with the anticipation of those needs. To pay for the bond, an additional 6 cents would have been added per $100 of assessed property value in the city and would of needed 57 percent voter approval to pass.[3]
