The Nebraska Compensation Review Commission Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Nebraska on May 13, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have created a compensation review commission, which would have had the authority to recommend changes in salaries and expenses for state officials.[1][2]
