The Nebraska Superintendent of Public Instruction Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Nebraska on November 8, 1938, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have provided that the Superintendent of Public Instruction be a member of the Board of Educational Lands and Funds.[1]
