The New Mexico Ballot Proposal: Recall of School Board Members, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The ballot proposal allowed for the New Mexico Legislature to determine procedures for the recall of local school board members.[1]
