New Hampshire Change of Venue in Criminal Trial Amendment (1978)
The New Hampshire Change of Venue in Criminal Trial Amendment was on the ballot in New Hampshire on November 7, 1978, as a constitutional convention referral. It was approved. This amendment proposed allowing the court to change the venue of a trial at the defendant's request if the court believes that a fair trial cannot be had in the judicial district where the crime took place.[1]
