Nadine Ramsey
Nadine Ramsey is the former Democratic District C representative on the New Orleans City Council in Louisiana. First elected in 2014, Ramsey lost a re-election campaign in the primary election on October 14, 2017.[1]

The city of New Orleans, Louisiana, held primary elections for mayor and seven city council seats on October 14, 2017. A general election took place on November 18, 2017, for races where no candidate received 50 percent of the primary vote. The filing deadline for this election was July 14, 2017.[2][3] Kristin Palmer (D) defeated incumbent Nadine Ramsey (D) in the primary election for the District C seat on the New Orleans City Council.

Elections for the city council of New Orleans, Louisiana consisted of a primary election on February 1, 2014, and a general election on March 15, 2014. Because no candidate received 50 percent of the vote on February 1, 2014, incumbent Jacquelyn Brechtel Clarkson (D) and Nadine Ramsey (D), as the top two vote getters, advanced to the runoff election on March 15, 2014. Ramsey defeated Brechetel Clarkson in the runoff. Lourdes Moran (D), Carlos Williams (D) and Eloise Williams (I) did not advance to the runoff.[4][5][6]
