Sandvig’s campaign website stated the following:

The foolish and reactionary policies to COVID negatively impacting our way of life, and in-person learning must end. It’s time to reopen our public schools and bring back teaching our kids full-time without restrictions. Let’s push back on unreasonable demands led by teachers’ unions and government bureaucracies. Nate will fight to improve the standards of education.
Fiscal strength and a productive society are national security and survival. We must stop punishing small businesses with whipsaw, unilateral decrees of openings and closings. Our businesses must be able to operate and we must stop living in fear of crippling regulations and stringent restrictions, as vaccines are now widely available. We need to lower, not raise, destructive taxes on families and businesses that penalizes self-reliance and do little to incentivize hard work. Washington politicians need to stop printing money to pay for wasteful pet projects that our country can’t afford and have little to do with infrastructure or a better future of America. Last year’s COVID “budgeting” supported by Republicans and Democrats was too much – they doubled down further, micromanaging families and proposing trillions more in spending that will bankrupt our country. The emerging welfare state shows disdain toward the dignity of work, and punishes working-class families. It seeks to make Americans wards of the government, and leaves China holding sway over much of our debt – reducing our individual liberty and economic opportunity for American families.
Today’s Cancel Culture is insane. Those who do not agree with the values that have shaped this country and made us great have schemed to build an Outrage-Industrial Complex that rebrands extreme ideas as “normal”… holding us hostage and preventing us from speaking out against the “acceptive narrative.” Big Tech’s power as the de facto arbiter of allowable discussion has stifled free speech. Big Tech and the liberal media censorship has grown so out of control that it has almost become normal to hear of another person getting “cancelled.” The idea that free speech is evil when you disagree is a talking point of D.C. politicians who want to silence those they disagree with.
People need confidence that our elections are fair, and they need to have trust in the democratic spirit of the process. It’s that simple. When the D.C. Democrats’ first act of power is to rig a permanent majority for themselves, voters have the right to question their intent. Integrity and common sense must be restored to our elections. Nate supports bipartisan common-sense election integrity rules, including requiring a valid photo ID to vote.
With Nate’s extensive experience and expertise in the energy sector, he knows that stable and secure energy supplies are essential to strong economic growth. It is a fact that his military combat deployment helped him appreciate first-hand. The nation that controls energy resources will become dominant, period. Responsible governments realize that the well-being of their citizens and political power of their countries depend on adequate energy supplies. As our Congressman, Nate will work toward solutions that contribute to securing a sustainable future, through efforts that will bolster national security and advance America’s interests abroad. We must ensure the affordability and reliability of energy at home, from fueling our vehicles to keeping the lights on to keeping our homes warm or cool, while balancing legitimate environmental concerns.[1] |
