Nancy Boettger (b. May 1, 1943) is a former Republican member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 9 from 1995 to 2015. She served on the Midwest Legislative Council from 1996 to 1998. Boettger did not seek re-election in 2014.

Biography

Boettger earned her B.A. in Sociology from Iowa State University in 1965 and her B.A. in education from Buena Vista College in 1982. Her professional experience includes working as a special education teacher, middle school teacher, Director of Education for Myrtie Memorial Hospital and a farmer.

Boettger won re-election to the 29th District Seat in the Iowa State Senate with no opposition. She received 16,127 votes.

Boettger had no opposition in the Republican primary election on June 8th.[2]

2006

On November 7, 2006, Boettger was re-elected to the 29th District Seat in the Iowa State Senate with no opposition.[3] She raised $23,756 for her campaign.[4]
