Superintendent of Public Instruction

Incumbent Wayne Sanstead (nonpartisan) did not seek re-election. He was first elected in 1984.

The position of Superintendent is nonpartisan, with candidates appearing on the same ballot without party identification. However, both GOP and Democratic convention delegates select a candidate to endorse.[1]
