The North Dakota Legislative Compensation Referendum was on the October 28, 1921 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have changed the compensation of members of the North Dakota Legislative Assembly from five dollars a day to one thousand dollars a year.[2]
