What do you think of our Top 10 national final songs of Eurovision 2024? Are you surprised by our choices? Let us know in the comments.
Oh. what a uh result. I mean, i enjoy it and all but just shocked.
Keiino had their time 2019, just repeating themselves even doing their style.
Strange Keino gets spot 1 with Annalisa has more wiwijury medals and more gold medals on spot 3
The ones who didn’t give it a medal maybe all have it on 30 while they have Damdiggida on 4.
I loved all of these but wish Novo Bolje was higher it is such a work of art, I want to see these artists try again!
Love the first place, well-deserved Keiino! I wish they had won, they would’ve been absoluty amazing at Eurovision.
No.
Not this year. Weak song from Keiino.
Gagged Sinceramente isn’t number 1 tbh
Sinceremente not being first is bad enough, but Keiino’s nonsense is entry being first is a joke.
My top NQ entries from all 22 national selections (in no particular order): Czechia: MYDY – “Red Flag Parade” Albania: Luan Durmishi – “Përsëritja” Ireland: Next In Line – “Love Like Us” Luxembourg: One Last Time – “Devil in the Details” Spain: Marlena – “Amor de verano” Norway: Farida – “Heartache” Malta: Denise Mercieca – “Mara” Ukraine: Ziferblat – “Place I Call Home” Finland: Cyan Kicks – “Dancing with Demons” Latvia: Pap?ra Lidmaš?nas – “Mindbreaker” Italy: The Kolors – “Un ragazzo una ragazza” Germany: Marie Reim – “Naiv” Denmark: Basim – “Johnny” Lithuania: The Roop – “Simple Joy” Estonia: Anet… Read more »
Pashkana…is the best of these.
Love Damdiggida but Tutta Gold is sooo much better!
Annalisa and Mahmood had such masterpieces. They could’ve easily won in Malmo. Angelina is still a contender, but those two were amazing imo.
In general, SanRemo was way over the rest of NFs. Melfest was not as good as previous editions but for a few songs, UMK is growing on me, Benidorm was a bit disappointing after only three editions, etc.
Annalisa with Sinceramente would have been a real contender for the win, and Cazzi Opeia was I think also a favorite entry if it won, and Keino would have been a real contender
Justyna – Wither Tarahoro that one was also my fav.. lots of songs I liked this year who missed the spot
Jorge with “Caliente” was so much better than Nebulossa with her “Zorra”.
There is no way you actually believe that
Wouldn’t have posted such a comment if I didn’t believe it. Nebulossa cannot sing to save her life.
Honestly no idea what those Melodifestivalen songs are doing there, it was easily one of the weaker NFs this year. Keiino’s song was good but I haven’t been listening to it since MGP.
Paskana should have won
honorable mention from internal national final in Poland: Justyna – Wither Tarahoro
1 St Pedro – Dos Extraños
2 Annalisa – Sinceramente
3 Erba’ – Sirena
4 Ziferblat – Place I call home
5 Angy – Se quien soy
6 Perpetua – Bem longe daqui
7 The Kolors – Un ragazzo una ragazza
8 Leo Middea – Doce Misterío
9 Kat Dosa – Tajni Za?in
10 Margaret Berger – Oblivion
Honorable Mention:
Bodine Monet – Tears like rain
Great top 10! 1-4 are fire and then we have 7 and 10 who deserved their placements, especially Jorge who was expected to have a top 10 finish here!
Wow 9 of this top 10 is also in my top 50!
01: Margaret Berger ? “Oblivion” (Norway)
02: Mahmood – “Tuta Gold” (Italy)
03: Cartoon feat Ewert ? “Oblivion” (Estonia)
04: The Kolors – “Un ragazzo una ragazza” (Italy)
05: Ryk – “Oh Boy” (Germany)
06: Sini Sabotage – “Kuori mua” (Finland)
07: CeasTone – “FLOW.” (Iceland)
08: Mate – “Big Mama” (San Marino)
09: Annalisa – “Sinceramente” (Italy)
10: Sexmane ? “Mania” (Finland)
Omg Taste Wiwi
Annalisa, Mahmood and Ryk are my Top 3 this year
I wish there were comments on each entry from the wiwi jury like in previous years.
Sinceramente Is my number 1 this year ?
Damdiggida at your top was kind of expected. No offense but what a weird taste some of you guys have XD
They have no taste! The musicality in that Is zero!
It’s a catchy song, what can I say!
Alone that they put the worst Melfest songs (My AI and Maria Sur) in the top 10 proves their weird taste 😉
I am Norwegian I must just say I’m sorry and that we really don’t deserve this. Tuta Gold, Wild West, Kazzi Opeia, Diodato and so many other songs were better than Damdiggida.
I miss Irama (Italy), Pan Savyan (Poland) and Dag Erik & Anne(Norway).
Damdiggida being above Tuta Gold and Sinceramente is a JOKE
I expected to see Joao Borsch on your list. I algo loved Danny Saucedo and Daniel Levi. I’ts a great list, with a lot of muy favorites from the season.
LOL.
I disagree with many picks in this list, but two NF entries I am bitter about that didn’t win, are Zorja’s “”Lik U Ogledalu” and Krick’s “Drowning In The Rain”
I agree completely that these were the right picks for those countries.
Two returning artists from Norway and Italy are in the top 2, just winning over a couple of Melodifestivalen songs. What an unbiased and unexpectable top!
What a varied and sometimes inexplicable list. I suppose there is no other way to do it.
For the record, I am no good at such immediate ranking. I’m too indecisive.
If it means anything. Danny Saucedo is my “most played” of the season to date, what can I say. It sparks joy, but I can’t objectively say it’s the “best” of the bunch.
Jorge González number 7?? This is not because of the song evidently.
I LOVE the song and of course Jorge reserves it
Deserves it I want to say
eesti laul was also really underrepresented here, it was very strong this year
Fomo by Cecilia to great to be robbed than the automatic qualifier
😀 😀 😀
May god protect us from Wiwi team’s tastes!
Scarlet deserved top 1 for me !
Melodifestivalen has some very good productions every year, but haters will continue to hate. But it won’t change a thing.
Geolier not even on the list, but the children’s band is number 1? ?
Really, Keiino…
My Top 47, the songs that I have on my Favourite Playlist from the season. Not ranked yet, but I can say that my top 3 are Anet Vaikmaa, The Splitters & Anne/Dag Erik. Eight songs aren’t on Spotify, including six of my seven from Albania … Andi Tanko (ALB) Arsi Bako (ALB) Irma Lepuri (ALB) Liran Durmishi – (ALB) Olsi Ballta (ALB) Peter Pan Quartet (ALB) Troy Band (ALB) Anet Vaikmaa (EST) Ollie (EST) Angy (ESP) Cyan Kivcks (FIN) Sara Sipola (FIN) Marie Reim (GER) Bashar Murad (ISL) Heidrun Anna Björnsdottir (ISL) Annalisa (ITA) BigMama (ITA) Loredana Berté (ITA/SMR)… Read more »
There are some fun under-the-radar picks here. I am constantly checking Spotify for Arsi Bako. 🙂
“If one may get pregnant, the oth?r’s still hot
When she may get pr?gnant, the first one is not
And I can cheat, it’s kinda discreet”
MÈLOVIN deserved Top 10 this year, but I totally understand that in many cases, Nordic countries are always overrated… “Effortless” in 5-th place, cheap generic pop, and weak meow meow vocals…?! Don’t make me laugh, please!
Disappointed but not surprised
oh… hehe…. ok
A little salty that Mahmood didn’t win here, he probably would’ve won Eurovision.
I’m delighted to see Cazzi Opeia make the top 10! I would love it if she represented Sweden, she’s such a joy to watch on stage.
Well people said that every time when he participated, but he didn’t…
People really thought “Brividi” will win?
Yes?
Yes before the rehearsals in 2022 it was a both a fan-favourite tipped to do well and one of the leaders in the odds
I think it very well could have if the live performance wasn’t disastrous. Well, that and the Ukraine war, I guess.
He will win one day
I don’t think so. He is a great artist but way overrated to be honest. His stage presence is missing and I think that’s the reason why europe is not crazy about him when he participates.
My top 10 ~ 10) Angy – Sé quién soy (Spain) 9) Margaret Berger – Oblivion (Norway) 8) st. Pedro – Dos extraños (Spain) 7) Luan Durmishi – Përsëritja (Albania) 6) Maria Sur – When I’m Gone (Sweden) 5) Gothminister – We Come Alive (Norway) 4) Annalisa – Sinceramente (Italy) 3) Scarlet – Circus X (Sweden) 2) Medina – Que Sera (Sweden) 1) Zorja – Lik u ogledalu (Serbia) So many I could’ve crammed in here, but these were definitely the ones I vibed with the most. Honourable mentions include Konstrakta (Serbia), Ziferblat, Yagody and Mélovin (Ukraine), Sara Siipola and… Read more »
And in the end they were ten (places 10 to 1): 1) “Remitente” – María Peláe (Spain) I knew from the very first notes that I was gonna get charmed by this song. “Remitente” covers plenty of elements that get me interested in music and appeal to me in the life of every day : organic sounds, flamenco and roots. I remember an article on Wiwibloggs reporting all the references deeply linked to María Peláe personal story, generally underlining how this song sounds like an open book about the Spanish society heritage. This made me loving it even more. It… Read more »
Yep, I like pretty much all of these, which is not a surprise. The only one I didn’t connect with is “Paskana,” but I know a lot of people did, so you’re in good company.
Emmy Liyana Ok ou ko. That was a good one. I should listen to this one again. Electric Fields as well, so good they get their turn now. Dotter was also good, with Bulletproof mostly. Keiino winning now and the AI horror top 10? No comment. lol just no
Think the ranking is about right. Keiino is the one the most i will miss from this years Eurovision although i do like Gate.
I want to see Keiino in Eurovision but not with that tame song.
Gate deserved their win.!!
Personally, I thought Damdiggida was just an OK song, but Keiino themselves really elevated it. If live is the #1 criteria, it makes a lot of sense.
Sad to see Loredana Berte didn’t make the list. She had an amazing banger this year!
I love San Marino’s choice this year, but Loredana would have been really fun to have in Malmo too!
1. Konstrakta – Novo, Bolje
2. Nahaba – Glasss
3. Cecilia – Fomo
4. Bashar Murad – Wild West
5. Filarri – Ko Je Ta Žena?
6. Annalisa – Sinceramente
7. Scarlet – Circus X
8. Shower – Impossible
9. Sini Sabotage – Kuori Mua
10. Mélovin – Dreamer
