January

1-Kevin Nash's WWE contract expires. He fails to reach a new agreement, with the company when they inform him that they expect him to actually work. The fact that Nash was let go, fuels month long rumors of an immenent housecleaning.

3-Jim Cornette misses a scheduled appearance for Ring Of Honor when he's given directions to the wrong venue.

5-Raw: Spike Dudley and Jazz return to TV.

6-The IWA Puerto Rico show ends in a riot.

9-MLW unsuccessfully attempts to make Brat Prince Teddy Hart and Old School Steve Corino to kiss and make up. The two had been enemies since last year's Ring of Honor debacle, where Teddy's concussion inspired him to ad-lib through an entire match as a way of either giving the fans what they want, or paying tribute to either his uncle Owen, or uncle Bret; depending on which story he's telling this week.

12-Trish Stratus adds a touch of humor to the Raw talent meeting by suggesting that the house shows be used to forward TV storylines. Vince McMahon suggests that young wrestlers follow the shining examples set by political maestros Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

13-Spanky quits WWE, because he believe that he's going to be cut as part of WWE's rumored housecleaning.
-WWE releases Originals, featuring songs performed by the wrestlers. The Dudleys sing about former ECW colleague New Jack, sparring a brand new feud.

15-Chavo Guerrero Sr. joins Los Guerrero's family feud.

16-Former XWF mastermind Jimmy Hart announces plans to hook up with former WXO, and current Brother Ted's Traveling Salvation Show mastermind Ted DiBiase to start a new wrestling company.

17-Brian Christopher livens up the Memphis Wrestling TV show by cutting a racist promo, and pulling a gun.
-Maven suffers an in ring elbow injury.

19-Bill Goldberg is asked to stop using the Jackhammer.
-WWE promotes the Royal Rumble match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels, by not having either of them appear.

20-Vince McMahon threatens to fire any wrestler found leaking secrets to Internet reporters.

21-Johnny Fairplay debuts for NWA-TNA. A clean shaven Vince Russo returns, swearing that he's found religion, and given up profanity.
-UPN renews Smackdown for another two years.

24-3PW experiences the largest crowd in their history when Blue Meanie and Stevie Richards reunite as the Blue World Order.

25-Chris Benoit is our 2004 Royal Rumble winner. Eric Bischoff spars with Paul Heyman, Billy Gunn brings the Mr Ass gimmick out of the mothballs (He's still straight too). Undertaker's return is also heralded (And it appears that he will return as The Lord Of Darkness!), while Mick Foley gets revenge against Randy Orton.
-Stevie Richards reward for bringing down the house at the 3PW show is to be allowed to accompany Victoria to the ring for her Heat match.

26-Former WWE president Jack Tunney dies.
-Raw: Chris Benoit jumps ship to challenge Triple H. Let the record show that Jackie Gayda's costume "malfunctioned" six days before Janet Jackson's did. Stevie Richards reward for his accomplishments during the weekend is to be allowed to accompany Victoria to the ring for her Raw match.
-Matt Morgan is injured during the Smackdown house show.
-Jerry Lynn signs a long term contract with NWA-TNA.
-"Wrestling death" teen Lionel Tate is released from prison.

27-WXW is forced from its headquarters due to building code violations.

28-Hardboiled Haggerty dies
-The Insane Clown Posse debuts for NWA-TNA. During the show Mike Tenay suffers a wrist injury when he's handcuffed to the rail near the announce position during the match between Don Callis and Eric Watts. Chicago bear Brian Urlacher also appears.

29-Eddie Guerrero wins a Mini Royal Rumble to replace Chris Benoit as the top contender to the Smackdown title. Nidia proves that she's not blind.

30-The Chicago Bears order Brian Urlacher to keep away from wrestling.
-Wrestling valet and Internet porn diva Tammy Sytch announces her retirement from wrestling, in order to become a flight attendant.

31-Buddy Landel allegedly has a fist fight with a police officer, after being asked to leave a panel at the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Convention in Monroe, NC.

February

1-Jim Cornette's Q&A; session at the Mid Atlantic Wrestling Legends Convention is spiced up by a visit by the Insane Clown Posse, who are eventually kicked out.
-Vince McMahon calls an emergency meeting of the WWE creative team, in order to brainstorm on how to best exploit the Janet Jackson incident.

2-Buddy Landel denies reports of rowdy behavior at the Mid Atlantic Wrestling Legends Convention.
-The Backseat Boys quit Combat Zone Wrestling.

4-PWI Rookie Of The Year, and Inspirational Wrestler Of The Year Zach Gowen is released by WWE.
-NWA-TNA: Juventud Guerrera drops Jerry Lynn on his neck, causing a stinger. Guerrera does not apologize. Dustin Runnels debuts, and the imminent debut of Chynna (Note new spelling) is heralded.

5-Mark Henry undergoes shoulder surgery.
-Smackdown: Chavo Guerrero Sr., us who taught Los Guerreros how to lie, cheat and steal; while Rey Mysterio is befriended by Jorge Paez.

8-Heat: Rob Van Dam wrestles John Heidenreich. Amazingly enough, no one is injured.
- "Clocks" the song WWE used to promote Kurt Angle's comeback, wins the Grammy for Record Of The Year.

9-Chris Kanyon is released by WWE, Kanyon had spent much of 2003 rehabbing a serious shoulder injury, and subsequent life threatening infection. Since his return later that year, he had been sporadically used as a Velocity jobber. This is said to be the start of a long expected housecleaning effort.
-Raw comes from the former forbidden city of Portland, Oregon.

10-Major League Wrestling once again ceases operations.
-Ernest Miller is released by WWE. His gimmick and his little buddy Lamont are given to Orlando Jordan.

13-Fare collector Brutus Beefcake causes a major terrorism scare at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing subway station when his cocaine is mistaken for Anthrax.
-Good Ol' JR is awfully mad at those pesky Internet reporters who broke the story of WWE's roster cuts.
-The Sable/Torrie Wilson issue of Playboy is released.

15-No Way Out: Eddie Guerrero wins the WWE Smackdown title. Chavo Guerrero Jr., the Cruiserweight title. Shaniqua gets squashed by Rikishi and is sent off to OVW.

17-Jake Roberts is charged with animal cruelty, after reportedly allowing his snake to starve to death.
-After years of court battles over the domain name WWF.Com, the World Wildlife fund sells the name to a group of wrestling fans.
-Teddy Hart stages hissy fit when Ring Of Honor invites Harry Smith and Jack Evens to their March 13 show without him, and have the further audacity to hold a Tag-Team Scramble without the Brat Prince's participation...Teddy promises his legion of fans that he'll be at the show (He will later be "officially" invited.)
-NWA-TNA announces that Chynna will not be appearing on their show. The group also postpones their planned "Bound For Glory" PPV special for a second time, loses Don Callis; who got a full time job, and sees their negotiations to bring their show to WGN go up in smoke. On a happier note, Chynna and X-Pac have gotten back together.

23-Controversial radio personality and friend of Hulk Hogan, Bubba The Love Sponge is fired by Clear Channel Communications.
-Raw concludes with a match that was six years in the making, as Vince McMahon takes on Eric Bischoff in a no-contest that concludes when Brock Lesner F-5's special referee Steve Austin. Victoria regains her sanity, and the WWE Women's Title. Chris Jericho is selling an "injury"does not appear on the show, but his band Fozzy is playing after the show.

25-NWA-TNA: Lex Luger appears. Before the show, Teddy Hart renews his acquaintance with C. M. Punk, as the two get into a slap fight outside a Nashville restaurant, which leaves Teddy in tears. In a shocking development, the fight ends when Sabu of all people steps in as a peacemaker. The Brat Prince then proceeds to work a knee injury during a taped match, which actually fools TNA trainers. TNA officials are preoccupied with visiting money marks...(Oops!)... potential business associates backstage, and making sure that none of the boys use bad language that might scare them off.

26-Edge injures his ankle during an OVW training session, delaying his return for several weeks. Edge has spent the last year recovering from neck surgery.

27-Teddy Hart complains that Internet reporters are lying about him, and extends another challenge to C. M. Punk.

28-Referee Tim White attempts to work his first match following last year's shoulder injury, but is unable to complete the match.

March

1-Major League Wrestling, Inc. agrees to sell its assets and properties to WGO Properties, a privately held, Asian based company.
-Finally, the Rock has returned to Raw! Tough Enough winner John Hennigan appears as "Johnny Blaze", Eric Bischoff's new flunky.

3-Ring Of Honor owner/promoter Rob Feinstein is named in an online pedophilia sting.

4-Rob Feinstein resigns from Ring Of Honor.
-Smackdown fans are amazed to see that Sho Funaki and Ultimo Dragon are still on the roster. The World's Greatest Tag Team pays Musical tribute to the West Texas Outlaws.

5-Bobby Heenan and Low-Ki distance themselves from ROH.
-Hercules Hernandez dies.

6-Debra places her wedding ring on Ebay. Bidding starts at $20,000

7-Abyss pulls out of ROH.

8-Dish Network drops most Viacom programming, including Spike TV and UPN.
-Roddy Piper pulls out of a ROH appearance, amid accusations that Rob Feinstein has not really resigned from the company. ROH champ Samoa Joe publicly blasts his former boss. Meanwhile a mysterious statement from someone claiming to be Feinstein is mailed to several websites, but removed after questions to its legitimacy arise.
-Raw: In an attempt to recreate one of the most successful TV segments in wrestling history, Rock presents "This Is Your Life, Mick Foley.' Jimmy Snuka drops in for some pie. Also: Johnny Blaze becomes Johnny Spade. A separated from Victoria Stevie Richards gets a surprise win over Chris Jericho, who promptly wipes up the floor with him.

9-Brock Lesner announces that WrestleMania will be his final WWE appearance. Lesner has been extremely critical of WWE's plans for him, and has also been traveling separately fro the others. The jubilant backstage mood is soured by fights between Big Show and Farooq, and a screechfest between Sable and Torrie.
-ROH submits papers to prove that Rob Feinstein has stepped down.

10-WWE wrestlers arrive in New York to promote WrestleMania, with the Smackdown crew still celebrating Brock's imminent departure. WWE captures major media coverage, but the specter of wrestling deaths and drug abuse looms.
-Wrestler Billy Reil captures a bank robber.
-Dish Network and Viacom reach a new agreement.
-ICP leave NWA-TNA "forever".

11-Of course, the papers detailing transfer of ownership of ROH from Rob Feinstein haven't actually been filed yet.
-Fans at a WrestleMania press conference chant "ECW" at Paul Heyman and "quitter" at Brock Lesner. Triple H snaps at the fans chanting for Paul and ECW, and also denies that he uses steroids......

12-But some in the media do not believe him. Meanwhile, Steve Austin and Billy Gunn take time out from promoting WrestleMania to have an altercation in the hotel bar.
-Hours before being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, Superstar Billy Graham is hospitalized for an intestinal problem.

13-USA Championship Wrestling airs a repeat of last week's show when the Nashville UPN station rejects footage of the current week's program; which featured a wrestler with a bloody nose for being too graphic.
-During the WWE Hall of Fame dinner, inductee Jessie Ventura hints at a 2008 presidential bid. Billy Graham recovers in time to attend.

14-WrestleMania XX: Chris Benoit wins the Raw title. The Hall of Fame inductees appear, with Jessie Ventura repeating his remarks about running for president. The long anticipated match between Brock Lesner and Goldberg; which will be the last WWE appearance for both, turned out to be a stallfest, and was booed out of the building. Future WWE CEO Declan James McMahon makes his WrestleMania debut. Ultimo Dragon fulfilled his lifelong dream of performing at WrestleMania, only to slip in the entryway, and again slip off of a turnbuckle. The Lord of Darkness returned with Paul Bearer at his side. Kurt Angle experiences more neck problems.

15-Vince McMahon announces that he's hosting another draft to shuffle the Raw and Smackdown lineups.
-Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage wake up to find that WrestleMania XX has indeed come and gone without them.

16-Ron Simmons tapes a Smackdown angle where he is "fired" from the show.

17-3PW promoter Jasmin St. Claire is hospitalized with a burst appendix.

18-Ron Simmons is released by WWE.

20-WWE in Aberdeen: In an attempt to graft a sense of humor onto Bob Holly, he teams with Billy Gunn, and moons the crowd after the match. Jamie Noble loses a blindfold match to Nidia, and yells "Thank you Vince for ruining my career!"

21-Jeff Jarrett and Abyss need a police escort to leave the arena in Mexico City after Jarrett pins AAA star Latin Lover. Juventud Guerrera is laid out by Abysmo Negro during a locker room dispute. The incident causes Jarrett to pull Guerrera from Team AAA.

22-Triple H, Mark Jindrak, Spike Dudley, Renee Dupree, Rob Van Dam and Teddy Long are drafted to Smackdown, while Shelton Benjamin, Nidia, Edge, Rhyno and Tajiri head to Raw. Paul Heyman is also drafted to Raw, but "quits". Benjamin and Edge are slated for major pushes.

23-ICP announces that they're returning to NWA-TNA.
-Kurt Angle becomes the new Smackdown GM. He trades Triple H back to Raw for the Dudley's and Booker T. He also trades Chuck Palumbo and A-Train for Rico and Jackie. Booker T becomes a major heel, Palumbo and A-Train find themselves working dark matches.

24-NWA-TNA: Sting returns. Officials ask contracted talent not to work for Ring Of Honor.
-WWE announces a 24/7 video on-demand service.

25-Police are called in to investigate domestic charges against Steve Austin

26-Bret Hart files suit against Lloyd's of London for failure to pay the disability claim for his career ending injury.

27-Injured NWA-TNA X-Division champion Chris Sabin is stripped of his title.
-Rowdy fans cause a riot at an Australian wrestling event.
-Steve Austin make his scheduled autograph signing.

28-Eddie Guerrero squares off with a fan who throws a beer at his children, who accompanied their father to the ring.
-Heat: WWE tries to turn Stevie Richards heel, but fans are confused; as most of them hate Rico more than Stevie. Stevie pushes Jackie, but she's also been unpopular since WrestleMania.

29-Raw: Shelton Benjamin defeats Triple H. Johnny Spade becomes Johnny Nitro.
-Chilly Willy returns from Iraq.

30-Flight attendants from WWE's disastrous 2002 European trip file sexual harassment suits against the company, naming Ric Flair, Dustin Runnels and Scott Hall a principles. Only Hall and the late Curt Hennig were fired as a result of these events.

31-NWA-TNA and Ring Of Honor officials to discuss TNA's decision to prevent their talent from appearing on ROH shows.
-Vince Russo says that wrestling needs to be cleaned up.
-Frankie Kazarian becomes the new X-Division champion.

April

1-Smackdown: Shirtless Spike Dudley wins a match!

2-The Rock's movie Walking Tall debuts at #2.
-With all of the recent controversy surrounding him, Steve Austin figures that this would be a good time to renegotiate his contract. Vince McMahon disagrees.

3-Terri Runnels and Sean O'Haire are relesed by WWE. O'Haire had gotten off to a good start, but was stuck with being Roddy Piper's bodyguard in April 2003. After Piper was fired, O'Haire was shunted off to Never Neverland.
-WWE holds their first ever show in Mexico with stars from both brands. After the show the group is detained at the border when some performers appear to lack the proper credentials for re entry.

5-Raw: After failing to get over last year while saddled with the Doink gimmick, Nick Dinsmore is brought in as "Eugene" Eric Bischoff's retarded nephew. A returning William Regal becomes his manager. The women's match featuring the return of Gail Kim is totally cut out due to commercials. Steve Austin is conspicuous by his absence.

7-Fugitive wrestling promoter Mike Rapauno is arrested for charges of violating his probation.

8-Even though John Cena wins an online poll, Bradshaw is named as Kurt Angle's Great American.

9-WWE announces that Confidential will be cancelled.
-NWA-TNA and ROH fail to reach an agreement to allow wrestlers under TNA contract to appear on ROH shows. TNA'a impending deal with Fox Sports, and concerns over the status of Rob Feinstein are listed as major issues.
-Jim Ross becomes WWE Executive Vice President, Business Strategies; while Johnny Ace becomes the head of Talent Relations.

10-WWE weighs into the TNA situation, by refusing to let developmental star Carly Colon face TNA wrestler Abyss in Puerto Rico.

12-Grandmaster Sexay returns to Raw.

15-Kevin Fertig debuts on Smackdown as Mordecai. Big Show "quits". To undergo knee surgury, "injuring Kurt Angle on the way out. Rey Mysterio takes time out due to dizzy spells, and Ultimo Dragon heads back to Japan. Fifi turns gray.

16-For the third time in two years, Steve Austin and WWE part ways.

17-Brock Lesner suffers minor injuries in a motercycle accident.

18-The fans at Edmonton still haven't forgiven Shawn Michaels....

19-...Neither have the fans in Calgary.

22-Jim Ross blasts Internet reporters, and threatens to bring Jeff Hardy back to WWE.
-Smackdown: Paul Heyman continues a time honored tradition of wrestling personalities who "quit" only to resurface a few weeks later. Paul London wrestles as El Gran Luchadore. Has anyone heard the joke about how Garrison Cade is supposed to be the least talented of Shawn Michaels' students, but is treated better because he's tall?

24-The final episode of Confidential airs.

25-Lance Storm's match on Heat shows overwhelming support from the Calgary crowd.

26-Lance Storm announces his retirement from in-ring wrestling. He's headed to OVW as a trainer.

29-Horshu debuts as "Luther". The Undertaker makes his first TV appearance since WrestleMania.

30-Former MLW owner Court Bauer and Teddy Hart team up to launch H-2 Pro-Wrestling. Well, at least here's one comapny Teddy won't be fired from.

May

2-WWE shoots a tasteless Smackdown angle with Eddie Guerrero's mother faking a heart attack.

3-Raw comes to Phoenix, but I couldn't get off work.

4-Long missing diva Jaqueline wins the Cruiserweight title. The title was supposed to go to Tough Enough winner Matt Capotelli, but Matt had been injured a few days eariler by Bob Holly, who showed what an asshole he was by brutalizing Matt on the show the previous year.

11-Grandmaster Sexay is released by WWE.

12- NWA-TNA officially announces that they will debut on Fox Sports Net in June.

16-Eddie Guerrero is hospitalized for blood loss after the Judgement Day main event. Chavo Guerrero Jr. regains the Cruiserweight title.

17-The Rock appears on Raw to give Eugene a vote of confidence.

18-Vince Russo finds God.
-Chavo Guerrero Sr. wins the Cruiserweight title.

19-Jerry Jarrett is rushed to the hospital with chest pains.
-Ron Killings becomes the NWA Champion.

4-NWA-TNA Impact debuts.
-Teddy Hart fakes a knee injury to get out of doing a clean job at the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup.

5-John Layfield celebrates D-Day in Germany by giving fans the Hilter Salute.

7-A-Train appears on Raw for the first time since being "traded."

8-WWE aplogizes for Layfield's actions, but later withdraws the apology. CNBC fires Layfield.
-Ring Of Honor begins a split with RF Video, due to the continuing involvment of accused pedophile Rob Feinstein. .

12-Sid Vicious wrestles his first match since his leg injury more than three years ago.

13-Trish Stratus becomes the first five time WWE Women's Champion.
-WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Sr. decides not to appear at Smackdown house shows.

14-Proving that they'll never learn from past mistakes; WWE books Lita into a pregnancy angle.

15-Chavo Guerrero Sr. is fired, but made to do lose the Cruiserweight title to Rey Mysterio at the Smackdown tapings.

17-WWE is accused of stealing the Eugene character from a show that was recently pitched to Spike TV.
-Smackdown serves to put a WWE spin on Layfield's being fired by CNBC. They conveniently do not mention his actions in Germany.

19-Shawn Michaels assists in the Baptism of former Rocker partner Marty Janetty.

21-The Rock appears to kick off Raw. William Regal wrestles his first match in over a year.

23-Ron Killings defeats Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Title, but the belt is held up, and eventualy returned to Jarrett by Vince Russo. Jeff Hardy shows up, but refuses to do a job for A.J. Styles.

24-Dominic Pagliaro quits WWE creative because they don't appreciate his efforts.

25-NASCAR announcer Jeff Hammond joins the NWA-TNA broadcast team.

27-WWE revives the WCW/NWA PPV name "Great American Bash". John Layfield becomes the Smackdown Champion. The show ends when The Undertaler "kills" Paul Bearer. The finish of the show had been leaked to several websites by people who witnessed the rehersal.

29-Mordecai does a quick job at the Smackdown tapings before being sent back to OVW with Johnny Nitro, Matt Morgan and John Heidenreich.

July

1-Longtime wrestling couple Diamond Dallas Page and Nitro Girl Kimberly announce their separation.

2-Dennis Rodman appears on Impact.
-Wrestling video game producer Acclaim files for bankruptcy.

6-NWA-TNA PPVs are "temporarily" removed from the DirecTV schedule.
-Ric Flair's book "To Be The Man" is released. Bret Hart and Mick Foley head the list of wrestlers uposet with Flair's comments about them.
-An eventful Smackdown taping has John Cena being stripped of the US title, while Billy Kidman and Paul London upset the Dudley Boys for the tag titles.

11-Edge defeats Rany Orton for the Interconrinental title.

15-Miracle of miracles! Kurt Angle is healed!

16-Rikishi is released by WWE.

19-NWA-TNA reaches a deal with Dish Network.

20-WWE and Marvel Comics go to court over rights to the "Hulk Hogan" name.

22-Vince McMahon lays the Smackdown on Kurt Angle.
-Joanie Laurer stuns fans with her conduct on the Howard Stern Radio Show.

23-H2Wrestling implodes as Teddy Hart loses his position as Co-Executive Producer of of the group after teasing that Bret Hart and accused pedophile Rob Feinstein would appear on an upcoming show. A few hours later promoter Court Bauer announces that he's canceled all upcoming events, and resigning his position.

26-Raw: The Divas meet Kamala.

27-Brock Lesner signs with the Minnesota Vikings.
-Sean O'Haire is arrested for assaulting two women in a nightclub.

29-Teddy Long becomes the new Smackdown GM.
-Sean O'Haire claims he was attacked by the people he's accused of assaulting.

August

1-Brock Lesner meets the media, refers to Sable as his fiancee.

6-Sable does a newspaper interview, making negative comments about WWE.

10-Sable is released by WWE.

11-John "Johnny Badcheck" Collins is jailed for his part in scams which include failed promotion MECW.

14-Brock Lesner makes his NFL debut in a pre season game.

15-SummerSlam: Randy Orton wins the Raw title. Bored fans actually get a wave going during the Ubdertaker/Layfield title match.

16-Canadian fans boo a vignette heralding the return of Shawn Michaels.

19-We learn that the next installment of Tough Enough will air on Smackdown, and have a $1 Million payoff, which is more than the combined salaries of the six previous winners.

20-We learn that the Tough Enough payoff is contingent on several conditions, one of them being that the winner has to remain under contract for four years.
-Former WCW wrestler Hardbody Harrison is charged with forcing women into prostitution.

22-Raw: The Rock is brought in to salvage the Diva Search. In case you haven't figured it out; the contest is rigged in Carmella's favor. The show ends with Kane and Lita getting "married".

23-Chavo Guerrero is injured at the Smackdown tapings.

26-Diva heir apparent Carmella attacks another woman in a Cleveland nightclub.

29-Jeff Jarrett runs into a little trouble at the Nashville airport when a "clear pipe" is found in his luggage. Jeff denies knowing how it got there.
-John Heidenriech throws a tantrum backstage, and punches himself in the face.

30-Brock Lesner is cut by the Vikings.
-The Divas curse on TV in order to spur viewer interest.

31-Video game manufacturer and ECW investor Acclaim shuts down and files for bankruptcy.
-Meanwhile Jimmy Hart gains controlling interest in the XWF and its assets. You remember XWF don't you? No?
-Our month concludes with P Diddy challenging Hulk Hogan to a match.

-Argo Broadcast Inc files a complaint against Future of Wrestling promoter Mike Rapuano, claiming that a check written to coverproduction costs bounced.

3- Jim Ross announces that he will no longer do weekly "Ross Reports". He spends a large part of his final report putting over the Sooners for their Rose Bowl victory.
-Shawn Stasiak announces that the person who said he was returning to WWE was an imposter, and he is actually studying to become a chiropracter. NHB Radio insists that they were talking to the real Stasiak, having interviewed him in the past.
-Kevin Nash predicts that he'll return by WrestleMania.

4-The Rock makes a surprise appearance at the WWE house show in Anaheim.
-Suspended former UFC champion Josh Barnett makes his New Japan debut. Chris Nowinski is shaken up after a botched 3-D, and getting put through a table.

6- Stasiak finds "proof" that there's an imposter, but by now nobody cares.

7- A-Train suffers a close call after a botched F-5 by Brock Lesner during the Smackdown tapings. Kenji Sakoda is knocked silly by Chuck Palumbo.

8- Dusty Rhodes kick off the first NWA TNA show of 2003, which is also the company's first sellout. Goldylocks suffers a concussion after a blown spot with Desire.

9-Pride President Naoto Morishita was found dead by apparent suicide in his hotel room just hours after presiding over a press conference where he claimed it would be the biggest year ever for his company.
-Tough Enough features Bob Holly attacking Matt, one of the more talented cast members. He claims he did not do this out of malice, but was attempting to give the kids a taste of what really happens in wrestling.

10- After realizing that he's exposed himself as a sadistic bully (which was the nicest thing that was said about him), Bob Holly attempts to explain himself on WWE.com by calling Matt a crybaby, and discussing his career threatening neck injury; which happened several days before the attack at the hands of Brock Lesner after Holly attempted to pull the same crap with him.
-Joanie Laurer and DDP appear on Street Smarts.

11- Six months after going premium, Honkytonk Man's website goes back to being free, and kicks things off with Honky beginning a feud with Roddy Piper.
-Spanky debuts on Velocity as masked wrestler Diamondback. The broadcast team informs us that Al Wilson is in a coma.
-A Stamford, CT newspaper announces that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have broken up.

12-Bret Hart announces that he and Vince McMahon have buried the hatchet, but denies that he will be at the Raw Anniversary show.
-Eddie Guerrero suffers a back injury during the Smackdown tapings.

13-GLOW once again pulls out of a TV taping, which was originally supposed to happen in December. The show will now take place in February, without the GLOW name
-Vince and Shane McMahon return to Raw. Eric Bischoff is given 30 days to turn the show around, or risk being "fired". Raven gets a haircut, and returns to Raw for the express purpose of jobbing to Jeff Hardy (who barely made it to the arena by showtime), before being fired, allegedly because Brian Gewirtz doesn't like him; although Raven can't say so because he signed a confidentiality agreement before his release. D'Lo Brown claims that racism is causing the referee to favor his opponent. He was wrestling Maven at the time.
-It is learned that Reality TV star Joe Millionaire is really former UPW wrestler Evan Marriot.
-Former Scott Steiner valet Midajah signs with UPW at the request of WWE management. Midajah's husband Mike O'Hearn, who participated in the WCW vs. Battledome angle is also enrolled at the school; as well as Hawk and Anni from Tough Enough.

14-The only surprise at the Raw Anniversary Show is a taped appearance by the Rock, which was booed by the fans. The crowd was further upset to learn that award winners Mick Foley and Steve Austin were not in attendance (although Vince seemed to tease Austin's return). Advertised guest Bobby Heenan pulled out, citing health reasons. Triple H and Stephanie stage a cutesy moment together at the show as proof that they're still a couple. Reaction to the show was overwhelmingly negative, but WWE management calls the show a howling success.

15-Konnan and Nikita Koloff (As Mr. Wrestling IV) appear at the NWA-TNA PPV. Jason Cross suffers a broken hand during his match with David Young.
-WWE developmental wrestler Damaja is stripped of his previously won right to participate in the Royal Rumble at the OVW TV tapings. Rhyno wrestles his first match in over a year.

16-Smackdown: The Al Wilson saga draws to a close. Red Dogg debuts. Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio return to action.
-Retired Japanese wrestler Ryuma Go robs an old lady at a train station.
-Roddy Piper responds in kind to Honky Tonk Man's attack. Honky then appeals to the dregs of wrestling fandom; the Juggaloes, for help

17- The Tough Enough kids are the guests on Byte This. Bob Holly joins the show, and shows his tender side by blasting Matt verbally.
-Pez Whatley suffers a heart attack.
-A Missouri judge rules that attorneys for Martha Hart acted improperly by releasing Lewmar inc. the makers of her husband Owen's harness from liability in Harts wrongful death suit against WWE; clearing the path for WWE to sue Lewmar for part of the $18 million they paid the Hart family to settle the case.

18-The Shiek passes away.
-American Dragon appears on Velocity as the fans make fun of his trunks by chanting "Tighty Whiteys" at him. Spanky appears as The Jet.
-CZW fans respond to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission ban on barbed wire and light tubes by bringing computer printers, thumbtacks, wiffle bats and mousetraps to a show.

19-Brock Lesner wins the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker returns. Bill DeMott suffers nerve damage to his arm during the Rumble match courtesy of Tommy Dreamer's kendo stick, Kane suffers a concussion. Rikishi gives his brother Jamal a stinkface. Kevin Nash once again threatens to return for WrestleMania.

20-Justin Credible is released by WWE. He had been suspended for tardiness (he was Jeff Hardy's former traveling companion, but Jeff is a star, so he doesn't get punished) since November. Both Credible and Raven were rumored for several weeks to be part of a larger housecleaning, but the story had been denied by Jim Ross.
-Raw: In honor of Martin Luther King Day, Teddy Long becomes D'Lo Brown's manager, and the two cut a promo spoofing Dr. King. Our New & Unimproved Four Horsemen ( the official name is Evolution) are: Ric Flair, Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton. Bischoff teases Steve Austin's return. We learn that Bischoff has 21 days to impress Vince; which means that the original 30 day time limit has been trimmed to 28, after the geniuses in creative figure out that the original deadline would have fallen on a night when Raw is not on. A spot from the World announces that the TWO Tough Enough winners will be chosen Thursday. Meanwhile MTV airs a Tough Enough commercial claiming there will be only ONE winner.

21- Fans in Albany for the Smackdown tapings respond to the surprise return of Hulk Hogan with a ten minute standing ovation.

22-Raven debuts for NWA-TNA
-Associates of wrestling promoter, porn guru and general scumbag Rob Black's worry that his dedication to XPW is having a negative effect on his porn business.

23-John and Matt are the Tough Enough III champions. Jamie was voted off by the fans, who were probably grossed out by her constant belching. Bill DeMott missed the event, due to the fact that he was "competing on Smackdown"; even though the show was taped Tuesday night. Nidia and Maven presented the trophies. Tough Enough II winners Jackie and Linda were not present. Once again fans complain about the way they are treated by World staff, as some were not admitted until halfway through the show.
-A match between B2 and Red Dogg is edited off Smackdown, due to time constraints. Meanwhile B2 is edited off the WWE roster. . B2 had spent more than 50% of his WWF/WWE career sitting in various develomental territories between angles.

3-Raw opens with dubbed in Spanish commentary. Booker T and Goldust officially end their partnership. Goldust is later attacked and electrocuted by Batista and Randy Orton. 6-Smackdown: After several weeks of inspirational and controversial vignettes, Sean O'Haire convinces Brian "Spanky" Kendrick to streak through the building. Brother Love returns as Big Show's second gift to the Undertaker, and is promptly Tombstoned.
-The Portland Wrestling TV taping is canceled after a dispute over whether the show had to be licensed by the Oregon State Athletic Commission.

2-IWA Mid South asks that fans who wish to participate in their July bus trip to launch a thumbtack drive, as the bus line prohibits them from bringing traditional wrestling weapons.

3-Raw: Triple H cuts a racist promo on Booker T. Steve Austin returns, and thanks the fans for their support. During the Heat tapings Xavier comes out to the ring, stands there for five minutes, and returns to the back for no reason.

April

1-Torrie Wilson's issue of Playboy is released.
-International Wrestling Superstars promoter Matthew Hendrickson is indicted on charges that he issued bad checks to several professional wrestlers who starred in the June 22 Wrestlefest.
-Willie the Worker, who claims to be a WWE wrestler who is upset about being left off the WrestleMania card makes his debut. Most of the sites he sent his column to decline to post it.
-Future Of Wrestling promoter Mike Rapuano is commited to a mental health facility.

3-Sable, who sued WWE for sexual harrassment; alleging that the company tried to force her to work a lesbian angle, returns to WWE. The injuries suffered by Kurt Angle and Brock Lesner at WrestleMania are acknowledged. It is announced that Roddy Piper, who spent the last several years badmouthing WWE will return next week.

4-Girls Gone Wild producers are arrested on charges of dealing with underage girls. WWE had ended their involvement with the group after tensions arose between the two organizations during the taping of last month's special. Eric Bischoff had arranged for WWE's participation after purchasing the PPV rights for GGW.
-Roddy Piper claims: The WWE cleaned up its act because of me!"

6-Heat moves to TNN.
-A "message from Roddy Piper" claiming that Piper would be involved in the creative process, and would clean up WWE circulates on the Internet. A few hours later the Piper camp denies he sent it.
-Hermie Sadler drives a NWA-TNA sponsored car in a NASCAR race, but wrecks during the third lap, and does not finish the race.

7-Raw: Kevin Nash returns. JR. "quits". WWE attempts to capitalize on the war by introducing Canadians Sly Grenier and Renee Dupree as a "French" tag team, while Christopher Nowinski makes an antiwar speech. Kane and RVD do a skit which is laced with drug references. Jazz joins Teddy Long's Black faction. After the show, Chris Jericho and Bill Goldberg get into a fight, and Jeff Hardy is sent home to deal with "personal issues."
-Willie the Worker posts what appears to be his final column.
-XPW cancels their May 16th show in New York.

8-Federal agents raid the offices of Extreme Associates, the parent company of XPW.
-Ultimo Dragon signs with WWE.
-A warrant is issued for the arrest of Mike Rapuano on charges of probation violation. Rapuano has had a history of theft, and bad check offenses dating back several years. He is also known for registering Internet domain names of WWE wrestlers.

9-Steve Austin confirms that he needs further neck surgery, which would end his in ring career.
-Hermie Sadler, and NASCAR broadcaster (and Stacker 2/WWE commercial regular) Jeff Hammond appear at the NWA TNA PPV.

-After XPW owner, porn guru, and general scumbag Rob Black announces that the raid on his offices by federal agents will not affect business; XPW announces the cancellation of the April 15th and 9th shows, and that their PPV, which was originally scheduled for June will now air "sometime in July".
-Smackdown: Piper's Pit returns to WWE. The infamous "coconut incident" is revisited with Snuka's nephew Rikishi.

12-Spike Lee is granted an injunction in his efforts to prevent TNN from changing its name to Spike TV.
-Smackdown: Billy Gunn returns to TV, and the Mr Ass gimmick. In order to remind fans that he's straight, he's paired with Torrie Wilson. Kurt Angle has a falling out with his proteges, telling them that they haven't earned the right to the "You Suck" chant. Linda Miles debuts as Shaniqua, the Basham Brothers' valet( For the record, Jackie Gayda was the valet most closely associated with them in OVW). Sable drops her top during an arm wrestling match between Vince McMahon and Mr America, giving Hogan (and Zack) an eyeful. The show ends with a bang when Brock Lesner attempts to superplex Big Show, causing the (gimmicked) ring to collapse. Fans in Cleveland miss the ring collapse, as the local channel decided to run a 25 minute weather update.

13-Jamal (Eddie Fatu) is released by WWE.

14-Stacy Young of Tampa, FL suffers irreversable brain damage after participating a Toughman competition .

15-Badd Blood: 19 year old Rene Dupre becomes the youngest tag team champion in WWE history. Goldberg confronts Chris Jericho fans after his match. Scott Steiner wins the services of Stacy Keibler, but has difficulty carrying her up the ramp. Shawn Michaels complains about not having enough time for his match against Flair, but his comments are pulled by WWE.com.

16-Raw: Mick Foley promotes his book, Lance Cade changes his name to "Garrison", to avoid confusion with Lance Storm; who is officially pronounced "boring" by Steve Austin, which make Austin the last person on Earth to realize it. 17-Stacy Young dies after being taken off life support after Saturday's Toughman Competition.
-TNN loses another round in the court battle for the name Spike TV.

-A fan at the Smackdown tapings is injured when Vince McMahon throws Zach Gowen's cane int the crowd. Kurt Angle suffers a hamstring injury during the main event, a six-man tag with Mr America and an injured Brock Lesner. After the show, Hulk Hogan threatens to quit over the way the match was handled, as well as the creative direction the Mr. America character was headed.
-HBO's Real Sports program features pre-recorded statements by Roddy Piper concerning his drug use. Piper is working the Smackdown tapings as the special airs. Vince McMahon is also interviewed for the show, which airs his angry reaction to certain questions.

28-Raw: Vince McMahon "forgives" Kane for attacking his wife, but a returning Shane does not. Molly Holly survives months of having to wear ugly costumes to capture the Women's title. After the show goes off the air, Triple H suffers a groin injury while wrestling Goldberg.

Test and Steiner pull down their trunks, with Test accidentally pulling down his thong as well.

3-Bad weather and a rough landing have the Smackdown crew fearing for their lives during WWE's Asian/Australian tour.

6-Jerry Tuite, also known as The Wall and Malice, dies in Japan.
-Nathan Jones walks out of a WWE event in Perth, Australia; announcing that he is quitting the business. There is much rejoicing.
