About Inaro. A basically simple game, Inaro will appeal to fans of Tetris, as it uses the familiar blocks for players to line up “in a row.” Instantly intuitive and easy to learn, Inaro is nonviolent and fun to play with universal appeal regardless of age, gender or culture. Designed around a deep scoring system that rewards players for setting off chain reactions that clears the play field, it has a particularly strong appeal to women players and puzzle lovers. It can be played solitary, as well as in two-player or multi-player competitive modes. How to Play Inaro. Inaro is played on a Matrix in which players shift rows of colored tiles to line up in solid colors. The objective is a race against the clock to trigger a “Line Clear” which eliminates that row or column from the Matrix. A sought-after feature of the game is the reward of one Line Clear causing a chain reaction of other lines of same-colored tiles to be formed, one after another, each causing a Line Clear. This chain reaction when Line Clear sets off subsequent Line Clears is called an “Inaro.” Empty spaces left by Line Clears are then replenished with new tiles for another game cycle. Points are scored by activating Line Clears and advancing to the next challenging level of play by beating a level goal. The game ends if a player fails to beat the timer before the level goal is achieved. To see a sample of the game play, download here: |
