"THE CLOCK TICKED OFF MURDER AT MIDNIGHT!"
Radio newscaster Peter Wiggins and his wife Ellen hope to adopt little Tina, who they have been foster parents for for seven years. However, Peter and Ellen's efforts are blocked by mysterious strangers, who claim that Tina is their child. What seems like standard procedure quickly degenerates into murder. Private detective Al Garrity is called in to uncover the motives behind the murder and the unknown killer.
