Great video. You always have to wait for the murders (just to give it a name) of course and you can quickly forget all the nonsense in between, but those murder scenes are all well done. The nice thing is that you often already feel that something is going to happen (with all elements present) but never exactly what, so it remains exciting. Not a good film otherwise, but does its thing when it has to. And the ending is very nice. 3.0*.

Poor movie, just like the entire series after the first part. But although I did find the first three parts amusing years ago (I've never seen the 4th one), I didn't find that at all with this one. To start with some positive points; the disaster in the beginning is fortunately good (you have already had the highlight of the film with that) and some later kills are really brutal. Especially the kill during gymnastics is very horrible, but also with that eye doctor, yuck. How I remember it many times more gruesome than the earlier parts. However, the last fifteen minutes is very bad (even the plane crash that connects to part 1 was not special to me), the actors are subpar, and most of the kills are uninspired and look fake (on the earlier mentioned dead). A 2* might be low, but I couldn't get much out of this. Not bad that the repeating Final Destination series seems to have died with this one.
