The Woman on Pier 13 plot
"Her beauty served a mob of terror whose one mission is to destroy!"
Former stevedore Brad Collins, who is making a quick career for a shipping company in San Francisco, is blackmailed by local communist agitators. They use their knowledge of Brad's former membership in the Communist Party, which will get him in trouble. When Brad refuses to be blackmailed, the party, through his brother-in-law Don Lowry, sends their femme-fatal Christine Norman after him. But Brad's new wife Nan Lowry sees that her husband and her brother are under pressure and investigates herself, but soon has to deal with the ruthless party boss Vanning.
