Hoofmeisie plot

"There can be only one"

Three young girls, together with their obsessed mother, try to fulfill their dream: to become 'hoofmeisie' (the title for the most important girl in their school). Nadia van Heerden, a 12-year-old orphan girl, is also trying to win this coveted prize, despite her grandmother's negative reactions. When she feels that everyone is against her, she quickly turns into a selfish bitch who would do anything to get the title. She must learn that a true leader is primarily characterized by honesty and generosity.
