Lagaan: Once upon a Time in India plot
This film is set in 1893, the year British Queen Victoria ruled India. Despite the drought, local British driver Captain Russell (Paul Blackthorne) decides to double taxes (Lagaan). The population, led by Bhuvan (Aamir Kahan) revolts.
