L'Idole plot
The lives of the residents of a French apartment complex are disrupted by the arrival of a young Australian woman (LeeLee Sobieski), a theater actress who struggles to get ahead. Her neighbor is an old Chinese man, respected by the other residents, who is considering moving into a retirement home. The two are drawn to each other by their loneliness and a touching kind of grandfather-granddaughter relationship develops between them.
