L'Onorevole Angelina plot
Housewife Angelina, poor but combative, has to pull out all the stops to provide for her family. If the grocer refuses to deliver her spaghetti on the bill, that's enough. She soon becomes the leader of a housewife revolt. The world of politics is open to her.

In the world of poverty on the one hand and that of political conspiracies and corruption on the other, it is mainly looking at Anna Magnani, as a champion on the barricades to enforce human rights, but too family-bound to trade that life to participate in the wealth-giving political scheming.
Magnani can also now charm in this realistic drama-comedy, which is not exactly a masterpiece, but is nevertheless interesting to follow because of the sketch of low social class, the hassle of those who arrange everything for their own benefit and the changing behavior of the masses.
