I don't understand the high reviews. The set-up, the atmosphere was all fine. But in the end there was no "wow" feeling or big twist for me. I see there are people here who doubted if that woman was still alive. Why the doubt? Never thought for a second that she could be dead at all. And Nick who could have been the killer. Never crossed my mind at all. Were we supposed to think that? After that it became a pretty standard "the good person turns out to be bad" story. Wasn't impressed with anything except the build-up at the beginning and that hassle with the press. I really don't understand the high scores. Even saw the word "mindfuck" come up. Well no. Nothing was really shocking and unexpected. I saw that this movie had the same score as "Contratiempo." That was the biggest shock for me I think... That movie is more than great and makes you fall from your chair in astonishment and has a certain scene that makes you say you.. Watch tip for everyone here who didn't like this.

Just as bad as Panic room or Benjamin Button. Nice brain dead casting director this must have been. Affleck & Pike... My God what a couple. They can flirt (barrage of wits of course) but give depth to a role and bring the depths of the soul to the surface? Not in 100 years, although I hope they surprise me one day. Apart from the flawed and unbelievable plot, it feels very uninspired above all: the ultra-corporate (just plain boring) direction seems to be stripped of all creativity and inspiration and the actors skilfully miss every chance for a top scene. With this film, Fincher proves not to be an author: can anyone tell me where he actually leaves his mark here? I hope Fincher saw all of the above as necessary ingredients for a good cash cow. Smart, because it is also annoying to see how many film lovers do not see through this: a neat 8.1 on imdb.

What a strong thriller, clearly also more thriller, with its constant tension, quest, twist and quite a nice crazy girlfriend, I can appreciate The film is also great, despite the small 2 h30, did you look like this with the necessary tension, questions and he looked away very smoothly. Kudos to David Fincher and the cast that was top notch. You won't find much better in this genre.
Want to give a 9.5/10 VR here, but due to the total experience towards perfection, I round off no above, so a 10
