Flashbacks of a Fool plot
Joe Scott (Daniel Craig) is a worn-out Hollywood star who wakes up with a hangover in his luxurious seaside home. His housekeeper seems to be the only person who still cares about him. Then his mother calls with the message that 'Boots', his childhood friend, has suddenly passed away. During a lunch with his agent a director, things get out of hand and he misses a big movie role. He walks onto the beach with a bottle of booze, and then into the sea. Then a long flashback to his childhood in England begins.

This film is so beautifully intertwined with the soundtrack of roxy music is there's something. At the end of the film, the film is made to the music of roxy music, which is unparalleled! Tears with meters of goosebumps! Beautiful movie.

I usually associate Daniel Craig with action, whether or not in a somewhat light-hearted context. Surprising, therefore, to encounter him in this unflattering film about a Hollywood star-on-his-return, who, in a moment of reflection, overlooks a few crucial events from his teenage years — a beautiful role by Harry Eden — see pull. It is a moving story, which at times leaves a strong impression. The decoration and the soundtrack give a striking image of the time. Overall, an entertaining movie.
