Johnny White (Long) is a famous singer and has withdrawn to the countryside to write songs for his new LP, but that doesn't work very well and the production threatens to go into a hundred. Then he is visited by Viola (List), who wants to talk to him about the problems with her husband Paul (Frenkel Frank), the director of Johnny's record company.
