Cerdita plot
"Adolescence can be brutal."
Teenage girl Sara is overweight and helps her parents in the butcher shop. She is the target of bullying at school, until the bullies are kidnapped by an unknown man. Sara, who witnessed this, keeps her lips tight to the police. The teenager is intrigued by the stranger. The feeling is mutual.

Ik kijk altijd graag naar Spaanse films. Het einde vondt ik persoonlijk wat tegen vallen. Het neemt dan weer een onverwachte andere wending, dan dat je verwacht. Jammer is dat.
Ik ben niet zo op horrorfilms, vanwege het vaak gruwelijke (sadistische) geweld. Maar het verhaal trok mijn interesse. Eigenlijk vondt ik het helemaal niet erg voor de pesters, integendeel: Hun verdiende loon.
Eigenlijk hadden alle pesters van Sara gewoon afgeslacht moeten worden. Dat had de film, met name op het einde, meer voldaan gemaakt voor mijn gevoel.
Met vlagen ook best spannend, en goede passende soundtracks.

Disappointing, rather messy thriller that, after an acceptable first half, gets bogged down in aimless situations and lots of hysterical screams. The characters lack motivation, making it difficult to invest in them emotionally and the plot is too unstable. Too bad, because leading actress Laura Galán plays a memorable leading role (and not only because of her stature) and there are some strong scenes here and there.

Sara [Laura Galán] is the daughter of a butcher's family and a mockery of her peers for being overweight. When some caricatured teasing spirits steal her clothes and her towel while she takes a dip in a stream in a neighboring village, all she can do is walk home half-naked on foot. But along the way she discovers that a murderer [Richard Holmes] is targeting her tormentors. Galán reprises the role she played in the 2016 short film of the same name, but Pereda does not provide any justification for the extension of the running time. The screenplay is way too thin.
