"These delusions are contagious"
'The Little Stranger' tells the story of Dr. Faraday, the son of a domestic servant who has worked his way up to become a rural doctor. During the long hot summer of 1947, he receives a call from a patient from Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked. Faraday accepts the patient's invitation and goes to the site that has been home to the Ayres family for more than two centuries. Meanwhile, the Hall has fallen into disrepair and appears to be possessed by something terrifying Faraday is unaware of.
