The Accidental Tourist plot
After the death of his son, writer Macon Leary goes into a kind of trance. His wife also has problems with it and thinks it's a good idea to break up. After the breakup, Macon meets a strange woman who seems to bring him back to normal. After starting a relationship with her, his wife tries to make amends.
