The Turner Revelation plot

This experimental feature film is about a black man who kills his white girlfriend. During heavy discussions with his accuser and his girlfriend, it gradually becomes clear that he actually wanted to kill his mother. “The Turner Revelation” is a complex style experiment about race, upbringing, prejudice and intense sexual urges in which Kaganof uses a violently moving camera and extreme close-ups to visualize the desolate inner landscape of the main characters.
