The Star Chamber plot
"They meet. They judge. They execute."
The Star Chamber is a clandestine council of ten judges who sentence unjustly acquitted criminals to death and have them executed by a hit man. Disappointed judge Steven Hardin joins this council after personally confronted with several cases of unfair justice and saddened to see rapists and murderers regain their freedom. But then it also turns out that this council is not devoid of unkosher practices...
