Resistance plot

The film is set in an alternate 1944. The D-Day invasion of the Allies has failed. Shortly afterwards, Germany invades Britain and after a month half of the country is occupied by the German forces. When 26-year-old Sarah Lewis wakes up one morning, her husband Tom is gone. On the same morning, more men appear to have disappeared from the remote village in Wales. The women in the village turn to each other for support and desperately wait for news. Then a German patrol, with an unknown mission, arrives in the village. When Commander Albrecht develops feelings for Sarah, he confesses to her the secret of the mission.
