Night and the City plot
"When you're down to your last dream, you either live it or lose it."
The story is about the shady lawyer Harry Fabian who can react so charmingly awkward that barmaid Helen Nasseros starts to glow as soon as he shows his face. After some flirting back and forth across the bar, they are making love in the street moments later. When Helen is back on her feet again, she is so careless as to lend Harry her savings. He can thus organize a boxing gala, an initiative that is not valued by the local mafia led by mafia boss Boom Boom Grossman.
