Fire in the Blood plot
After 1996, the big pharmaceutical companies and western governments prevented people suffering from AIDS from getting affordable medicines in Africa. The result is millions of deaths that could have been avoided. A group of activists is determined to denounce this. “Fire in the blood” is the first film to portray this pressing battle with contributions from the likes of Bill Clinton, Desmond Tutu and Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz. It shows the struggle of the people from all over the world that ended happily in saving millions of human lives.
