De Overloper plot
The relationship between Eva van Dongen and Floris Wolfs is under heavy pressure. Wolfs is in prison for stealing the four million euros of government money and Eva tries to forget him. But when Wolfs is released earlier due to a formal error and joins a bunch of criminals, they meet each other, as opponents, again in a world where not everything is as it seems. And where trust proves to be of vital importance…

A bit bland to watch this without having seen the accompanying series. So I have no idea if and how this connects to the storylines. In itself it is a nice attempt to make something of a Dutch action film. A reasonable budget has been spent here and they have managed to get very nice actors for it. Unfortunately it remains a bit clumsy and a bit static.

Once in a while, when I really have nothing else to do, I watch an episode of the series. With varying appreciation. It's not really bad, but it's not special either. As far as I'm concerned, that also applies to this feature film version. I have to say that this kind of police films is not my favorite genre and that of course makes a difference.

Incredibly bad movie. Real Dutch quality.
Pieter van Rijn, how dare you call yourself a director.
After about 20 minutes you already know who the real mole is. The shootings are of the A-Team level.
Completely predictable and never exciting. laughable.
Well-known typical Dutch over-acting by Victor Reinier in particular, completely talentless
The final scene, really to cry so bad and unbelievable.

nothing 'opinion', FACT this film is an insult to the viewer and disrespectful to directors who work hard and strive for only the best.
