A gold prospecting survivor, Joe Meadows, raises his colleague's daughter. This girl named Mickey is referred to her aunt, Mrs. Drake, sent when she's older. Meanwhile, Mrs. Drake wed her daughter Elsie to another prospector, Herbert Thornhill, to solve financial problems. When Mickey shows up here, uncomfortable squabbles ensue.
