Well worth it.

Toni Collette still in the early years top actress, top film recommended.

Romantic girl who suffers from her obesity and the lack of understanding within her environment and even within the shaky family in which she lives.

Toni Collette puts down a good interpretation in this film that tries to mix drama and humor in a good balance and largely succeeds in doing so, but which was disturbed by the caricatural representation of several characters, the girlfriends for example.

A special role is reserved for Bill Hunter, who does a great job of portraying his unbalanced, irresponsible and corrupt character.
