"No man can resist her!"
After Wallace Wooley (March)'s ancestor burns Jennifer (Lake), a witch and her father curse the entire family; that their sons will always get the wrong wives. In the twentieth century, the night before Wallace's wedding to Estelle, the witch returns to give Wallace a love potion to make him fall in love with herself, but she gets the potion herself and falls in love with him. Now everyone is starting to get into trouble; the witch is in love with Wallace, but her father doesn't want her to marry Wallace; Estelle doesn't want to marry Wallace; Wallace begins to fall in love with Jennifer and declares that Estelle is not the right woman for him, but he must marry Estelle because he wants to become a senator.
