"It's better to burn out than to fade away."
Phil Kaufman is the heavy drinking, motorcycling, rock and roll road manager of legendary singer Gram Parsons. When he dies, he steals his body. He has promised the singer to bury him in Joshua Tree. Pursued by the police, Gram's father and his twisted ex-girlfriend Betty, he embarks on a black comic adventure that will take him deep into the desert. Based on a true story.
