Dude, Where's My Car? plot

"After a night they can't remember, comes a day they'll never forget."

Party animals Jesse and Chester wake up after a night out. They have a huge hangover and even worse, they don't remember where they parked their car the previous night. The two set out on a search and come to the conclusion that they've done much more than just partied the night before. Jesse and Chester are confronted by a cult that claims to possess an alien instrument designed to prevent the universe from being destroyed. Now it's up to them to find out what's going on.

Nice movie for your lazy Sunday afternoon or for when you are 15 and crackling stoned.

Always funny to see how some people judge these kinds of movies too seriously.

These kinds of films are fun snacks that you have to watch with a slanted eye and are also made with that intention.

Yet you always keep people then write reviews about it as if it is meant to be top art house, as if you are going to write a serious review on a restaurant review site about a McDonald's hamburger as if it were haute cuisine

“Dude! You got a tattoo!”

Dude, Where's My Car?... At times this remains quite fun. Especially at the moments when William Scott is allowed to do his thing and a number of beautiful women are introduced again, the film remains more than worth seeing. It's a screwball comedy with a lot of silly humor and other nonsense. You have to love it and be in a certain mood, but then there is enough to laugh about.

Funny.

I have seen the title of this film many times in my life, but seeing the film was actually a completely different matter. I didn't really have high expectations for it either, but luckily the film eventually came out as a companion film. Especially with a good atmosphere, films like this are excellent material.

The randomness of the film strikes repeatedly. Almost every scene contains a quote or a moment that you will remember. This is partly due to the fact that the humor is pushed so far that it is difficult to forget the film for its content. Almost all ideas are lumped together and Leiner sprints through them. It is certainly messy, but also very funny.

The finale is way over the top and I can well imagine that it is not the film that everyone is waiting for. I think that the film mainly works within company. The acting is by no means brilliant, but the constant appearances of strange characters in combination with the bone-dry humor ensure that Dude, Where's My Car? is a film you can hardly forget. Very good to do.
