Bright Young Things plot
"Sex... Scandal... Celebrity... Some things never change."
Young Adam (Stephen Cambell Moore) is part of a group of eccentrics who are constantly looking for newer and faster thrills. Adam is head over heels in love with the beautiful but cool Nina (Emily Mortimer). He has good connections and goes to the right parties, but unlike the rest he is completely broke. He needs money to marry Nina. He seems to have a lucky night when he wins a lot of money on a bet. Adam gives the money to a mysterious drunk major (Jim Broadbent) who promises to bet his money on the horse races. It soon turns out that the major has run off with the money and Adam is broke again. In the meantime, Nina, who needs some stability, has accepted a marriage proposal from an old school friend. What follows is an almost impossible hunt for the missing money and his beloved Nina.
