I occasionally catch flop in Rome in the messages. That seems very well expressed to me. Unfortunately, these kinds of movies are not my thing. Too many unsavory images, especially when that family was eating. Also very ugly women. The best scenes for me were of that family on the luggage rack of the van on the way to the dining destination somewhere on the beach and that family with all kinds of household goods clambering up the hill on their way to a new destination and the ending was also very telling. For the rest: well you have to love these kinds of films that are about the bottom of society. So I clearly do not belong to the enthusiasts and if we are talking about Ettore Scola's films, give me a film like [url=https://www.moviemeter.nl/film/5923]Una Giornata Particolare[/ url], Much better for me.

This is one of those movies that will stay with me forever for its unimaginable, shocking brutality and if it's not brutal it's equally staggering, like the daily scene where a teenage girl takes care of her educational task of collecting the school children and the rest of the day. seclude the day in a closed "play" area.

More unabashed than funny and, although the example of this family is very extreme, the images of the slum and the behavior of its residents are so disturbing that the film actually also points to a wound: a socially inadequate policy. Isn't the police department that keeps the file of the family being ridiculed?

The final scene confirms the sadness of life on this hill, in view of the metropolis.

With one exception, the beautiful neighbor Tomassina, the entire film exudes ugliness. The run-down neighborhood that looks more like a dump, the ugly people who pass by, some stranger than others, ... make the film a true spectacle. And that is it! You sometimes lack eyes to observe all those rarities or to frame the events. Beautifully portrayed, that's for sure!

The colorful mishmash of the Mazzatella family lives with 15 in a dark little house that is divided into sleeping barracks. There is clearly a corner with the family, not least with the paterfamilias. Amazing how he can rant and keep an eye on his family (with one eye). He doesn't trust them at all. It's great how he suddenly brings an ugly free-range into the house and just puts it in the bed in front of his wife...

In addition to the comic part, it is also inevitable that these harrowing situations express a kind of social criticism of how the policy sometimes fails grandly to take care of all its residents, especially the less fortunate.
