Ben owns a movie theater and lives with his girlfriend Miko. She works for a film festival and is politically active, but does not share her ideology with him. His best friend Alice is a lesbian and introduces Ben to her conservative family as her boyfriend. When Miko leaves for New York for an internship, Ben is on his own.

Annoying film about a narcissist who has a strong opinion about everything and everyone, often based on prejudices. As a result, it is inevitable that he will constantly repel people around him. I usually watch movies for pleasure. I did not enjoy this often provocative comedy.

Good film about a cinema owner whose girlfriend is moving away for a few months. The film has some start-up problems because the scenes jump around a bit. Nice dialogues and the self-confident element here and there are also entertaining. Not exactly a sympathetic main character, but still fun to watch. A small 3.5 stars.

Nice film, especially the interaction between Ben and his partner in crime Alice is pleasant. Loose but also natural. This also tells me that he is not an asshole, at most that he occasionally reacts irritated or that he is too much in his own world and therefore overlooks others. In any case, he is not a narcissist. His girlfriend is also the real bogeyman, as it turns out later in the film.
Atmospherically shot and never super profound or emotionally gripping, but entertaining. 3.5*
