Poisson-Lune plot
Anne and her brother Tom are leading a construction project for a sports complex. She has a fifteen-year-old daughter Fabienne. This one deals with young North Africans - in particular with Latifa - who are trying to integrate into French society. Anne and her brother Tom want to prepare a surprise for her daughter on the occasion of his sixteenth birthday. That is also roughly the time when the construction work must be completed. Anne hears that her brother wants to go his own way after this and she feels abandoned by him. In revenge, she destroys the gift. Fabienne, who didn't get along very well with her mother anyway, sees her birthday falling apart and flees to her uncle. Meanwhile, Anne plays the beast in trucking circles. Another disappointment: It turns out that Fabienne's uncle is her own father. She then seeks refuge with her Magrebian friends.
