Suzanne Yale is a Hollywood actress and she has a big problem with her drug addiction. Her studio insists that she move in with her mother Doris, a drinking addict, to recover from work. Suzanne has problems with it because she has been trying to avoid her mother for years. Gradually she regains understanding for her mother.
